Presidente do Peru é preso após tentar dissolver Congresso

O presidente do Peru, Pedro Castillo, foi preso horas após anunciar a dissolução do Congresso,Pedro Castillo, foi destituído pelo Congresso do país. A decisão, votada nesta quarta-feira (7), ocorreu após o líder peruano tentar dissolver o Parlamento e instaurar, sem sucesso, um golpe de Estado no país. Castillo foi preso após deixar o Palácio Presidencial, acompanhado da primeira-dama Lilia Paredes, os filhos e a cunhada.
O Congresso convocou Dina Boluarte, vice-presidente de Castillo, para assumir a presidência. Ela deve ser empossada às 15h de Lima (17h de Brasília).
Após decretar estado de exceção, uma sessão de emergência do Parlamento foi convocada, e Castillo destituído por “permanente incapacidade moral”. A moção de vacância foi apresentada com o apoio de 67 votos e admitida em debate com 101 votos a favor, seis contra e 10 abstenções.
