Maioria do TSE rejeita recurso de Deltan e mantém cassação de mandato

A maioria dos ministros do Tribunal Superior Eleitoral (TSE) votou nesta quarta-feira (13) contra o recurso do ex-deputado federal Deltan Dallagnol (Pode-PR) para anular a decisão que cassou seu mandato.
Até o momento, cinco dos sete ministros da Corte se manifestaram pela manutenção da cassação do ex-procurador da Operação Lava Jato. O julgamento ocorre no plenário virtual do TSE.
Em maio deste ano, o tribunal entendeu que Deltan não poderia ter concorrido às eleições de 2022 por ter saído do Ministério Público Federal (MPF) durante a tramitação de processos administrativos disciplinares contra ele no Conselho Nacional do Ministério Público (CNMP).
A elegibilidade de Deltan foi contestada pela federação formada pelo PT no estado e o candidato a deputado Oduwaldo Calixto (PL). Antes de chegar ao TSE, a inelegibilidade de Deltan foi rejeitada pela Justiça Eleitoral do Paraná.
Em junho, a Câmara dos Deputados declarou a perda de mandato do deputado. Suplente do Podemos, Luiz Carlos Hauly tomou posse na vaga deixada pelo ex-procurador.
