Hugo Motta, diz que decisão de Gilmar Mendes é fruto da polarização política

Após a decisão do ministro Gilmar Mendes de restringir impeachment de ministros do Supremo Tribunal Federal, o presidente da Câmara, Hugo Motta, conversou com o presidente do Senado, Davi Alcolumbre, e com o próprio Gilmar Mendes para tentar um consenso. Para ele, essa decisão de Gilmar Mendes é fruto da polarização política.
Ao participar de fórum do site Jota, Hugo Motta afirmou que o Senado e o STF vão encontrar um caminho de conciliação. Gilmar Mendes restringiu apenas à Procuradoria-Geral da República a abertura de processo de impeachment contra ministros do STF. Davi Alcolumbre protestou e disse que se tratava de uma “usurpação” dos poderes da Casa.
O assunto será decidido em plenário virtual em sessão que começa na sexta-feira da semana que vem, dia 12.
