Polícia Federal incinera drogas e outras substâncias ilícitas apreendidas em Campinas/SP

A Polícia Federal, em continuidade à execução do plano estratégico de repressão ao tráfico ilícito de drogas, incinerou, na manhã e tarde desta terça-feira (05/04), um total de 251kg (duzentos e cinquenta e um quilos) de drogas.
Foram incineradas drogas apreendidas pela Polícia Federal, muitas delas decorrentes do trabalho de fiscalização da Receita Federal no fluxo de encomendas postais do Aeroporto Internacional de Viracopos, além de outras relacionadas a prisões em flagrante em decorrência da inspeção de bagagens e passageiros pela própria Polícia Federal durante os anos de 2021 e 2022.
Todas apreensões geraram investigações pela Polícia Federal para identificação dos envolvidos. Além de drogas, foram incinerados anabolizantes e medicamentos.
Essa é a segunda incineração no presente ano e foi realizada na cidade de Itapevi, SP. A primeira ocorreu em 17/03, quando foram incinerados 105kg de drogas, em São Paulo/SP.
O evento foi realizado sob rígidos protocolos de segurança física dos envolvidos e seguiu as recomendações de saúde impostas, com o uso de equipamentos de proteção individual (EPIs) e acompanhamento pela Vigilância Sanitária.
