Violência doméstica: monitoramento de agressores vai ser ampliado para todo o estado até 2024

O projeto pioneiro de monitoramento com tornozeleiras de agressores de mulheres deve ser ampliado para todo o Estado até o final de 2024. O anúncio foi feito pelo secretário da Segurança Pública de São Paulo, Guilherme Derrite, durante um evento em São José do Rio Preto, nesta segunda-feira (25).
“O monitoramento de criminosos reincidentes em cumprimento de pena em regime aberto será uma realidade em todo o Estado de São Paulo até o final do ano que vem”, informou Derrite. “Nós temos 8 mil tornozeleiras contratadas para a capital paulista e abrimos um edital de licitação para comprar para todo estado pela Secretaria da Segurança Pública”, enfatizou o secretário.
O projeto piloto está em execução na capital paulista desde 11 de setembro. Até o momento, 20 infratores receberam tornozeleira eletrônica por decisão da Justiça, depois de serem soltos em audiência de custódia. Um agressor foi detido após descumprir a ordem judicial.
