Novos soldados tomam posse na Polícia Militar de São Paulo

A Polícia Militar empossou, na manhã desta sexta-feira (14), 896 soldados de 2ª classe aprovados em concurso público. Os candidatos foram nomeados por meio de publicação no Diário Oficial do Estado no último dia 4.
Agora, os soldados iniciarão o Curso Superior Técnico de Polícia Ostensiva e Preservação da Ordem Pública, na Escola Superior de Soldados, com um ano de duração. Após a formação, os novos policiais serão designados para reforçar o policiamento preventivo e ostensivo de todo o Estado.
Reforço no efetivo
Desde o início da atual gestão, 12.815 policiais, sendo 9.791 PMs, 2.259 policiais civis e 765 técnico-científico, já passaram pelos cursos de formação e estão atuando em todo o Estado.
Além deles, outros 2.220 profissionais estão atualmente em formação, sendo 1.453 soldados e 662 alunos-oficiais, além de 103 policiais civis e dois técnico-científicos.
Ainda estão em andamento dois concursos para selecionar mais 2,7 mil soldados e 220 alunos-oficiais.
