Pix bate recorde e aproxima-se de 180 milhões de transações em um dia

Sistema de transferências instantâneas do Banco Central (BC), o Pix bateu novo recorde na última quarta-feira (6). Pela segunda vez, a modalidade superou a marca de 170 milhões de transações em 24 horas.
Somente no último dia 6, foram feitas 178,686 milhões de transferências via Pix para usuários finais. A alta demanda não comprometeu o funcionamento do Pix. Segundo o BC, os sistemas funcionaram com estabilidade ao longo de todo o dia.
O recorde anterior tinha sido registrado em 20 de dezembro, com 178,091 milhões de transações num único dia.
Criado em novembro de 2020, o Pix acumulou, no fim de fevereiro, 160,83 milhões de usuários, conforme as estatísticas mensais mais recentes. Desse total, 146,95 milhões eram pessoas físicas; e 13,88 milhões, pessoas jurídicas. Em janeiro, segundo os dados mais recentes, o sistema superou a marca de R$ 1,82 trilhão movimentados por mês.
